Donald Healey worked for Triumph and Humber before realising his dream of creating the Healey Motor Company in 1946, and what was then fastest production car in the world in 1948.
The turning point came when Healey decided to export the Nash-Healey, a move which led to the 1952 development of the Healey Hundred. In 1956, Healey released the 100/6 BMC, one of the most successful rally cars ever.
The final incarnation of this track hero, the 3000, launched in 1963, and remained until the end of 1967, when Austin-Healey production ceased.
