Overview of Positions
service centre managers
Service Centre Managers lead our store teams. They keep the store running smoothly, they provide excellent customer service, and they make sure we have a great team environment – happy & safe.
To apply for these positions, you would ideally have a leadership experience in retailing or the automotive industry.
mechanics
Our mechanics diagnose and repair all kinds of cars with the help of modern equipment. They assist apprentices, and support the service centre manager. We are always on the look out for a qualified motor mechanic. With our large network there is probably a store near you!
apprentice mechanics
At Kmart Tyre & Auto Service, we are Australia's largest employer of apprentice motor mechanics. We want to provide you with a great job and a great career path for the future.
We expose our apprentices to as broad a range of mechanical duties as possible. Apprentices also undertake accredited TAFE training during the term of their apprenticeship. The 4-year Apprenticeship enables you to be fully qualified as a Motor Mechanic.
automotive services technicians, wheel aligners, tyre fitters and trades assistants
Selected stores also employ specialists in the above areas. These technicians assist our teams in car servicing, tyre and wheel alignment work.
