Guarantees

At Kmart Tyre & Auto Service, not only do we offer great service at great prices, but in the unlikely event that something does go wrong we encourage you to talk to us about it.

 

Kmart Tyre & Auto Service warrants our products and services to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the periods stated below from the date of purchase (provided the conditions below are met). This warranty is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Workmanship

We offer a Lifetime warranty on all work performed at Kmart Tyre & Auto Service.

New Parts

We offer a 24,000kms or 24 month guarantee (whichever occurs first) on all new parts supplied and installed by our qualified technicians.

Tyres

At Kmart Tyre & Auto Service we offer a Lifetime tread guarantee against manufacturing faults and limited to pro-rata replacement, calculated on the remaining tread depth.

Wheel alignments / Wheel Services

We offer a guarantee for wheel alignments and wheel services for 6 months from the date of service or 10,000kms, whichever occurs first.

Batteries

Guarantees on batteries range from 12 to 36 months, depending on the type of battery purchased.

Terms and Conditions of Guarantees

Kmart Tyre & Auto Service will repair or exchange (where possible) the product or service if it becomes defective within the warranty period. Kmart Tyre & Auto Service will bear the reasonable expense of claiming the warranty.

 

This warranty will no longer apply where the defect is a result of alteration, accident, misuse, abuse, neglect or where subsequently repaired or modified by an unauthorised service agent.

The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or normal service life and excludes maintenance items, such as globes, wiper blades, lubricants and fluids.

 

Please retain your invoice as proof of purchase and contact any Kmart Tyre & Auto Service store nationally. You can also contact our Customer Service Centre on 1800 065 010 or alternatively, visit www.ktas.com.au. Warranty claims and claims for expenses incidental to the warranty claim can be addressed to our Customer Support Centre at Level 2, 7-9 Barwell Avenue, Castle Hill NSW 2154.

 

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods and or services fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
