Every day; one young person dies on an Australian road; and many more are seriously injured, living with lifelong and life changing injuries.  Kmart Tyre & Auto Service have partnered with RYDA Australia to reduce this appalling statistic.

The RYDA Road Safety Education Program was developed to help address this most serious issue, and now some 200,000 students have participated in the Program since its inception.

Targeting Year 11 students, RYDA is a one day program - a school excursion in essence - held on a school day at a non-school site with students participating in six interactive sessions. 

In small groups, students attend sessions conducted by road crash survivors, Police, driver trainers, drug and alcohol educators and vehicle safety professional. All sessions are conducted by topic experts in their field.
